Transformer protection AZT-9

The AZT-9 relay is dedicated to protect the transformer in emergency situations, especially in case when due to loss of auxiliary supply on the substation the primary protections of the transformer were unable to operate. This is enabled thanks to application of two independent supplying circuits, therein one from current transformers of the bay. In case the AZT-9 identifies fault demanding to turn off the transformer, it sends tripping signal from independent internal capacitance energy storage.
